Best Anti Aging Vitamins – Vitamin A and Vitamin E

April 6th, 2012

While there is no way to stop getting older, there are ways in which you can delay the signs of aging. There are some that can even be reversed through plastic surgery. Of course, there are rough days when you definitely feel your age. But, this does not mean that you have to look at it too. In fact, we have come to know that it is very important to live well, eat well and exercise to look our best. However, there are some people who have made no effort to look after themselves and once they start getting the signs of aging they try to find miracle cures. Unfortunately, there are none. But, there are ways in which one can delay the signs (if done on time) or slow them down, or even reverse them gradually. Unfortunately, even the healthiest skin in the world will eventually sag and wrinkle and experience discoloration or pigmentation.

One way to overcome the aging effect is through the use of vitamins and supplements. There are a couple of anti-aging vitamins that you can get in the market. You can find the best of them and know the different things that they do. These vitamins help to repair the signs of aging, like improving the skin’s colour and getting rid of some of the wrinkles that have developed because of age. And, the great thing about such vitamins is that they not only improve the appearance of the skin, but also improve physical and mental health if taken orally. However, anti-aging vitamins can also be applied topically onto the skin in cream or oil form.

There are two very important vitamins used in anti-aging products. These are Vitamins E & A. They are classified as anti-oxidants because of the way in which they function. Vitamin E is actually thought to be the most important vitamin in the fight against the signs of aging. However, it is not actually a single vitamin but it is a collection of 8 vitamins that each work differently. Vitamin E fights against oxidative stress, which is basically the short-term for the causes of aging. Oxidative stress is caused by free radicals which cause the signs of aging. These include fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, sagging, etc. Free radicals are basically over-reacting molecules in the body caused by oxygen. The oxidative stress is when these molecules begin to attack surrounding cells. This is where Vitamin E is beneficial. When Vitamin E is applied directly onto the skin, it can protect the skin damage from sun, which also causes aging. It not only protects from this, but also repairs existing damage.

It does not have to be taken in the form of a supplement or applied directly onto the skin. It is also beneficial to eat foods that contain Vitamin E. It is recommended to consume at least 30 mg of Vitamin E each day. Food sources of Vitamin E include olives and olive oil, papaya, sunflower seeds, and avocado. There is also some Vitamin E in blueberries and spinach, but not as much. The skin is made up of cells. Therefore, to keep the skin looking beautiful the cells have to be healthy. For this Vitamin A is a beneficial vitamin for anti-aging purposes. It keeps the cells (and thus the skin) resistant to damage because it is healthy and moist. This means that the skin is also protected from damage resulting from free radicals when it receives sufficient Vitamin A. When applied topically Vitamin A has been found to actually lighten the liver spots on the skin that result from aging.

Benefits of Anti Aging Supplements

February 25th, 2012

Anti aging supplements are prevalent and even though not all may bring out the effects of reversed time, those that produce results have benefits that surpass simply looking younger. It is paramount to understand what supplements your body needs because not all of them generate the same results. In fact, what may work for one person might have adverse effects on another. It is because of such occurrences that a consultation with a medical physician is worthwhile. Having noted the above however, there are a number of key benefits that supplements provide to any individual.

Improve the Immune System

A poor immune system readily exposes the body to a number of diseases. Our immune system weakens as we grow older, which is why supplements are necessary. Vitamins in Anti aging supplements help restore the immune system and give that needed boost of energy. It is easier to ward off diseases that may be life threatening with a strong immune system. In addition, energy revives the body and keeps it strong. This is necessary for a young and healthy looking body.

Enhanced Memory and Stamina

Supplements such as HGH and those that are made with ingredients such as fruits, vegetables and herbal extracts are essential. Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is known to sharpen the memory, increase energy and reverse signs of aging. Supplements with HGH will therefore renew your energy level, which means you are more productive in day-to-day activities. Poor memory, which is associated with aging, is also negated when the right supplements are taken. Your brain functions optimally and your memory is improved.

Intake of Essential Nutrients

The body does not always get the right amount of nutrients. This can be through lack of sufficient production within the body or through inadequate foods that we eat. Anti aging supplements provide the needed amounts to reach the appropriate nutrient levels. Omega 3 fatty acids are especially necessary because the body does not produce them at all. Additionally, not everyone observes a balanced diet which is why supplements come in handy. For a wholesome nutritional diet, supplements rich in vitamins, carbohydrates, fats and required acids are indispensable.

Provide Antioxidant Properties

Resveratrol, found in certain fruits, such as grapes and vegetables contains antioxidant properties which are vital for the body. Supplements that have Vitamins A, C and E also have antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are known to fight free radicals in the body that may cause harmful diseases. These diseases include heart diseases, cancer, respiratory diseases and ailments that come along with old age. Antioxidants also improve the skin’s appearance making it visibly younger and smoother.

Bone and Muscle Rejuvenation

Vitamin D anti aging supplements prevents the fragility and aches associated with the aging of bone and muscle. Muscles remain strong and active with the supplements, while bones are averted from diseases that may leave one immobile. It should be noted however that not all bone diseases can be prevented by taking supplements. Nonetheless, they are good in minimizing pains and ensuring the joints work effectively.

Hormone Growth and Reversed Aging

Many people take supplements to slow down the aging process. This is exactly what happens with HGH releasers. You not only get to enjoy youthful energy and looks, but the production of the Human Growth Hormone is restored. This is produced in the pituitary gland situated in the brain. It is the hormone responsible for natural growth of the body. Production minimizes with age however which is what leads to the signs of aging. Nevertheless, you can reverse the process and take pleasure in being younger, longer with supplements. Therefore, as noted, anti aging supplements have far more benefits than restoring youthful looks. Together with the supplements though, incorporate a healthy lifestyle so that you can have these benefits for an extended period of time.
